Health Check-up Guidelines

This year's health check-up is for faculty and staff who joined by March 14, 2024 (including contract staff and military instructors, but excluding seconded staff, research assistants, and postdoctoral researchers).

Supervisors with dual academic affiliations will be notified of their insurance status by the relevant departments.

Health Check-up Details:

• Dates: January 15, 2025 (Wed) to March 14, 2025 (Fri)
• Time: Tues, Wed, Fri 9:00-11:00 AM & 2:00-4:00 PM
• Location: 3rd Floor, Nuclear Medicine Building, Health Check-up Center

Instructions:

• Bring employee ID and National Health Insurance card.
• Fast for 8 hours before the check-up. Complete within your scheduled time (senior staff must book in advance).
• Female employees needing urine tests should avoid menstruation periods.

Participation is encouraged for better health.

Note 1: Free Cancer Screenings Included:

• Colorectal Cancer: Fecal occult blood test (every 2 years, for ages 50-69)
• Oral Cancer: Oral mucosal exam (every 2 years, for those 30+ who chew betel nut or smoke)
• Breast Cancer: Mammogram (every 2 years, for women 45-69)
• Cervical Cancer: Pap smear (annually, for women 30+)
• Lung Cancer: For those with family history or heavy smoking history (requires proof).

Note 2: Employees meeting the criteria can undergo cancer screenings during the health check-up. Results won’t be included in health records.

Note 3: Bone density test is available for those who applied and received confirmation. Allow 15 minutes per test.
