According to Article 16 of the "Labor Health Protection Regulations," employers must conduct general physical examinations when hiring workers. If the worker provides proof within the regular check-up period stated in Article 17, the examination may be passed. The check-up periods are:
- Every 5 years for those under 40.
- Every 3 years for those between 40 and 64.
- Every year for those 65 and older.

New faculty and staff must submit a valid "Physical Examination Report" to the Environmental and Occupational Safety Center (1st floor, Cheng Ai Building) before or on their reporting day. Ensure the report meets required items; if not, complete the missing items before reporting.

Please go to the affiliated hospital or another recognized medical institution for labor health examination.

Examination items based on "Labor Health Protection Regulations, Schedule 9":
- Survey of work history, medical history, lifestyle habits, and symptoms.
- Height, weight, waist circumference, vision, color discrimination, hearing, blood pressure.
- Physical examination and inquiry of body systems.
- Chest X-ray.
- Urine protein and occult blood test.
- Hemoglobin and white blood cell count.
- Blood glucose, ALT, creatinine, cholesterol, triglycerides, and HDL cholesterol tests.
- Other tests designated by the central competent authority.

Fast for 6-8 hours before the check-up. Bring ID and NHIC card (no appointment required).

Check-up time: Monday to Friday, 9:00-11:30 AM and 1:30-4:00 PM.
